These Terms govern your use of Copsy — the web app at copsy.app and the Copsy Mac agent (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Copsy copies camera cards from a Mac to a hard drive and (optionally) to your own Google Drive, and lets you steer that process via Telegram or the browser chat. We are a small, early-stage tool — bugs happen, breakage is possible.
Your footage stays yours. Copsy never claims ownership over the files it copies. We never read file content; we only record metadata (file names, sizes, timestamps) needed to report progress.
Don't use Copsy to:
Copsy is in active development. Features may change or break. We may add limits to prevent abuse. We may stop offering the Service at any time, with reasonable notice when feasible.
While Copsy is in beta, accounts are free. Paid tiers may be introduced; we'll tell you well in advance and won't surprise-bill anyone who signed up before pricing existed.
Copsy integrates with Google Drive, Telegram and Groq (for voice transcription). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or data loss at third parties.
You can delete your account any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security risk.
The Service is provided "as is" with no warranty. We do our best to copy your footage safely (rsync byte-level checksums, two destinations) — but we cannot promise zero data loss. Always keep your own backups. Copsy is a helper, not a substitute for a careful workflow.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Copsy's total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the previous 12 months (currently zero — see Pricing). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
If we change these Terms materially we'll post the updated version here and update the date at the top.
